The mission of the American Aspergers Association is to initiate, sponsor, support, and promote activities and projects for the care, treatment and education of children and adults afflicted with Autism and Aspergers Syndrome without regard to faith, creed, race, national origin or ethnic background.
This American Aspergers Association website is for information about our efforts to care for children that can benefit from the use of hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT). There is a weath of scientific evidence that shows children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and other special needs can benefit from these treatments. The website is also designed for sharing information in both parent connect and professional connect chatlines where parents, teachers, individuals with A.S. , researchers, and others can interact with others to share knowledge and interact with eachother.
We are currently trying to fundraise with our goal to provide free hyperbaric oxygen to any person who would benefit within the autism community. The American Aspergers has one hyperbaric oxygen chamber located in our main office. This Chamber is 33.5 inches in diameter and about 8 foot long, a child and parent can fit in comfortably. While in the Chamber one may watch a DVD or listen to music or take a naps. We will be using the chamber for research with Aspergers Syndrome, treating Aspergers clients as well as any client in the Autisic Spectrum Disorder group
Our vision to provide children with free hyperbaric oxygen is only made possible by donations from individuals, civic groups, and corporations, etc. All donations are welcome, no matter the amount and are 100% tax deductable. Contributions are to be made to AMERICAN ASPERGERS ASSOCIATION INC. The American Aspergers Associaton is a 501 (c) (3) non profit corporation founded in 2009.
